Indiana Chapter of the Michigan Antique Phonograph Society

Paul Ladd received our group’s official charter from the Michigan Antique Phonograph Society at their Christmas meeting in 1993. Our Indiana chapter started with 12 members and has grown considerably since then. HAPS holds four meetings each year traveling to member’s homes all over the State, from Evansville in the South to La Porte in the North and from Richmond in the East to Crawfordsville in the West. We meet on Sunday afternoons starting at 1:00, feast from the host’s cuisine, and hold a brief business meeting. When all of this is done, then we get down to the serious topics of, “Did you see such and such on eBay recently?” or “Where can I get this part or that repair service?” You’d be hard put to find a friendlier or more knowable group of antique phonograph collectors.
